Thank you, Ann. My husband often teases me about how many photos I take, but I do not regret having these treasures. I couldn't find the specific photo I was looking for, but I found so many good ones. It's hard to believe all these giant teens were once so little.
The photos are priceless! Those early years of such chaotic mess and imagination! I also take sooooo many photos, but they are only little once. I have never regretted the thousands of pictures.
At the time I could not have imagined feeling so much nostalgia for the chaos. It was so maddening. But I'd give almost anything to be able to go back in time to watch them all playing again.
My daughter is still in the pull out a bunch of stuff mode of playing. I try to remind myself that I bought her toys so she would play with them. 😜 She is slightly better at putting things away now. The boys have Legos all over their room. I just ask for them to be cleaned up when I vacuum. I remind myself of how clean my house will be when they are all grown up. And then I will be sad that they are grown up.
So cool that your daughter shared her experience of baskets with you. :)
Yes. She's a writer too and it's fun to share our writing worlds. She really loved my poems, which is high praise from a 19 year old.
Such a lovely thing to share 😊
The photos are so beautiful. Like a time capsule. Aren’t you glad you stopped to capture the ordinary sweetness of an ordinary day? 💛

My boys' room is a sea of Legos. I shudder to think of how dirty the floor is under the mess.
What a great party indeed 🎉💙 loved reading all of them! The first one is heartwarming 😍
Thank you, Nimita!
